Built for the set you're on.
ForgeLyte Lift is an independent iPhone app made by ForgeLyte. It does one job: help you log your training quickly and see whether you're getting stronger.
Who makes ForgeLyte Lift
ForgeLyte Lift is designed, built, and supported by Ashkan Sotoudeh, the app's developer. It launched on the App Store in July 2026. There's no social network to grow, so every decision is made for the person logging a set, not for engagement metrics.
What we believe
Logging should be fast. If tracking a set takes longer than resting after it, people stop tracking. The core loop of weight, reps, and checkmark is built to take seconds.
Your data is yours. No account, local storage by default, optional Apple Health and iCloud, and CSV export so you can leave anytime. Read the privacy policy.
The free version should be genuinely useful. Unlimited workouts, full history, rest timer, PR detection, and export are free. Pro is for people who want sync and deeper analytics.
No clutter. No social feed, no AI coach, no badges for opening the app.
How our training guides are written
The guides on this site follow a simple standard: if we make a claim about training, we link to where it comes from.
Primary sources first. Claims about rest periods, volume, effort, and progression cite peer-reviewed research, preferably systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and position stands such as the American College of Sports Medicine's, with links to the PubMed record.
Rules of thumb are labeled. When a recommendation comes from common coaching practice rather than research, like warm-up percentages or plate increments, we say so.
App claims are checked against the app. When a guide describes what ForgeLyte Lift does, that description is checked against the shipping app, including which features are free and which are Pro.
We disclose our interest. These guides are written by the developer of ForgeLyte Lift, and every article says so. They're general information, not medical advice.
Spotted an error or an outdated claim? Email support@forgelyte.com and we'll fix it and update the article's date.
